Summer Missions Project
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
Each week this summer we are asking children to bring designated items to their Sunday School class to donate. At the end of the summer, we will package the individual shoe boxes. Please buy items with a child of a specific age and gender in mind. Here is what we are collecting for the next few weeks:
Toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush
Stuffed animal, doll, Play Dough, small doodle pad, small Etch A Sketch, yo-yo, ball, cars, etc. (bring 1-2 items from this list
T-shirt, socks, ball cap, hair clips, and/or sun glasses
Hard candy, suckers, and gum (please put in a plastic bag)
Please write a personal letter (i.e. that you hope they enjoy the items, that you will pray for them, that you love Jesus, etc.) to the child who will receive your shoe box and include a picture of yourself or your family
We will assemble and decorate our boxes
We will pray over the boxes during the church service.
