Global Outreach

Westbrook Church, in obedience to God's will that every believer share Christ's heart for the world, reach out with the Gospel to the unsaved, and build them up to completeness in Christ (Colossians 1:28,29), is committed to maintaining Global Outreach programs that will enable the Westbrook congregation to better know the missionary heart of God and then to more effectively help fulfill the Great Commission as recorded in Matthew 28:18-20 and Acts 1:8, to "go and make disciples of all nations".

Global Outreach emphasizes support of and focus on cross-cultural ministry endeavors which take place outside of the local sphere of influence of the congregation and are directed toward evangelism, discipleship, church-planting and equipping, missions support and administrative activities, theological training, or meeting human physical needs.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT NEEDED FOR SPRING BREAK TEAMS

You can have a part in GO-ing by GIVE-ing!! Two teams of Westbrookers are GO-ing to serve elsewhere over spring break: 24 adults and teens are heading to Puebla, Mexico to work at Esperanza Viva, an orphanage and Christian school south of Mexico City. Five adults are traveling to the Phlippines to encourage our two missionary families, the Rickerts and the Holemans, who work at a school for missionary kids in Manila. Each individual is trusting the Lord to raise the funds through other individuals investing in what they are GO-ing to do! If you are interested in contributing toward sending either of these teams, write a check to Westbrook Church and put either MEXICO or PHILIPPINES in the Memo.

If you are interested in being more involved in caring for our missionaries personally or having a part in seeking the Lord's direction for goals/strategy for Westbrook's Global Outreach ministries, please consider joining the team of committed volunteers who meet once a month for these purposes! Domestic Outreach

TOUCHED TWICE

About 360 guests were served and nearly 200 Westbrookers served in various ways during our Touched Twice outreach on Apr 28! Thank you to all who donated food, toiletries, new socks/underwear, and TIME in order to bless the under-resourced in our community in the name of Jesus Christ.
